Forecast for Wednesday 24th & Thursday 25th Septermber

Wednesday brings cloud, patchy rain, and drizzle spreading across Victoria and New South Wales with snow above 1800m, while strong westerly winds ease later. Thursday stays grey with light rain, flurries up high, and gale-force northwest winds in exposed areas that could impact lift operations.

Forecast for Friday 26th to Sunday 28th September

Friday stays mostly cloudy with afternoon showers and strong northwesterly gales disrupting lift operations. On Saturday, gale to severe gale northwesterlies persist, with a mix of sun, cloud, and a few showers. By Sunday, winds ease to westerlies, bringing a calmer but still partly cloudy day with the odd shower.

Extended Forecast

High pressure dominates next week, keeping snow and rain minimal, though passing weak systems may bring strong winds and occasional warm northwesterlies.
