Summary
A northern storm brought 10–20cm to NSW resorts, while Victoria missed out. High pressure settles in for Friday and the weekend, offering excellent conditions. Northwest winds strengthen Monday ahead of a front on Tuesday, which will first bring rain, then a dusting of snow to upper slopes later in the day.

Monday stays partly cloudy with strengthening northwest winds, reaching gale force in exposed areas. On Tuesday, a front brings morning rain, afternoon showers with snow on upper slopes, then clears at night as gale winds ease.
