Lack of Snow Is No Longer My Primary Concern

Summary

It's gone from bad to worse in western Washington as a strong atmospheric river continues to inundate the western part of the state. Heavy rain will persist through the early afternoon before transitioning to showers as the atmospheric river sags south. The pattern remains active overall following a quick break this weekend, and once again, there are some signs of some snow for the Cascades.
