Late Week Showers, Overall Pattern Still a Bummer

Summary

Most of the next ten days will be cold but dry as the polar vortex remains over the central and eastern parts of the country while persistent ridging remains over the northwest. There are no signs of a significant pattern change in the foreseeable future, but we will see some snow showers later this week.
