Channeling snow positivity, eyeing Jan. 8-12 storm cycle

Summary

A weak system will cross the Four Corners on January 1-2, which could bring a dusting to an inch or so to the high elevation northern mountains. Otherwise, the first week of 2026 will be mostly dry and mild. The extended models show a potential storm around the January 8-12 timeframe.
