Summary

A Pacific storm will split into two storms on Saturday, with New Mexico falling in between the two split storms. The more northern of the two storms will tap into abundant sub-tropical moisture, bringing some snow to the northern high elevations on Saturday. Warm temperatures will likely hinder snowfall at lower elevation resorts in the northern mountains.
