Good morning! My name is Julia and I am an undergraduate that will be doing some of the forecasts this season. As of late, there are not many ski resorts in New England that are open just yet. If you are really anticipating getting back on the slopes for the season, Killington Mountain in Vermont is the only available option with 4 trails open to the public. However, more openings are soon to come: it is projected that within the coming weekend, mountains including Sunday river, Sugarbush, and Sugarloaf will be opening a few of their trails - with the help of mostly man-made snow - though it is uncertain how many.
