April Snowstorm Thurs – Fri / Big Sky & the SW mountains Looking Good…

Summary

Recent snow totals reported on Tue AM have 12” at Red Lodge, 6” at Lookout Pass, 5” at Whitefish, 2” at Discovery, and 2” at Big Sky. Generally, cool with unsettled skies and a brief warmup on Wed. A deep, closed low storm system is trending more confidently to bring moderate to heavy snowfall into the Northern Rockies on Thu and Fri, with the SW mountains looking best positioned. Dry weekend.
