A Warm Christmas / Cold Front on Friday Brings Back the Snow

Summary

A southerly flow of warm and somewhat unsettled skies will be with us through Christmas Day. A strong cold front will then move into the Northern Rockies early on Friday, spreading periods of snowfall all the way through Saturday. The western mountains should see storm totals of 6 to 16 inches. The mountains east of the Divide, 4 to 7 inches. Very cold this weekend for all areas. Dry on Sunday.
