Warm Unsettled Southerly Flow / Strong Cold Front Friday

Summary

Due to a deep trough off the California Coast, a southerly flow will initiate an unsettled warming trend on Tuesday that likely persists through Christmas Day. A strong cold front will then move into the Northern Rockies early Friday morning, spreading snowfall through the day. The western mountains are favored, with anywhere from 3 to 9 inches. Cold and dry this weekend for all areas.
