Second Consecutive Weekend Snowstorm / Pics and Totals

Summary

A deep Pacific closed low storm system worked in unison with cold Arctic air pushing out of Canada to bring widespread snowfall across Montana’s Rockies over the weekend. Snow totals ranged from 2 – 4” at Whitefish to close to a foot at Big Sky, Bridger Bowl and Great Divide. Light daily accumulations will continue at Big Sky through Thursday, mostly dry elsewhere. Another storm looms this Sunday.
