Arctic Air Mass Brings Snow Squalls and Very Cold Temperatures

Summary

A strong Arctic air mass will move into the Mid-Atlantic late Friday and into the weekend. This Arctic mass will bring widespread snow showers from Friday afternoon to Saturday morning with localized heavy snow squalls. Snow accumulations will be 1-4 inches across the Mid-Atlantic and will be heaviest to the west with 6-12 inches. Temperatures and wind chills will be very cold, dropping below 0.
