Southern Snow Friday and Saturday

Summary

Arctic air continues across the Mid-Atlantic with temperatures below 0 to the teens. A coastal storm will develop off the Carolina coast on Friday and Saturday, bringing 8-16+ inches of snow to the Smoky Mountains as well as central to eastern areas of NC and SC. Light snow will extend into the southern Mid-Atlantic as well. Cold air continues after this storm.
