Brief Areas of Scattered Snow Showers North and West

Summary

Rain will move out of the Mid-Atlantic on Friday as a cold front moves in from the northwest. This cold front will change rain to snow briefly and develop widespread snow showers on Friday afternoon. Snow accumulations will be light of 1-4 inches from NC to PA, and then 1-6 inches in the northern Mid-Atlantic. The weather dries out for most this weekend and into early next week.
