Rain Thursday, Light Snow North and West on Friday

Summary

Temperatures are above-freezing through the Mid-Atlantic and will be so until Friday and the weekend. A storm will bring widespread rain on Thursday, but a cold front will change rain to snow briefly north/west. A few lake effect snow showers continue to the north on Friday with snow accumulations of 1-6 inches. This weekend will be mostly dry with cold air to the north and warm air to the south.
