Rainy Pattern Wednesday through Sunday

Summary

Warm and wet weather will affect the Mid-Atlantic this week. A strong southwesterly flow will bring areas of rain on Wednesday and Thursday, with a narrow area of heavier rain through the center of the Mid-Atlantic on Friday. More widespread rain will move in this weekend with 5-day rain totals of 1-4 inches, with the heaviest rain to the west. Cold air moves in next week with light snow showers.
