False Spring This Week, Confidence Growing in a Pattern Change Next Week

Summary

Confidence is growing that the stagnant high pressure ridge over the West will finally break down during the 2nd week of Feb. But first, the ridge will put on a final show this week, and will strengthen across the West, resulting in unseasonably warm temps. Colder & more active weather should arrive by Feb 9. Storms may favor light snow initially, then I'm feeling more optimistic by mid-month.
