Warm & Dry Pattern Ahead; Will the Pattern Flip in Mid-February?

Summary

High pressure will intensify across the West from now through Feb 8th, resulting in dry conditions and well-above-average temps that will make it feel more like spring at times. We will see some cloud cover this weekend with more sunshine next week. We may head into a more active pattern with cooler air during the 2nd week of Feb but it's unclear just how abruptly the old pattern will break down.
