A Remarkably Persistent Dry Spell

Summary

In my last post, I mentioned how models were backing off on any potential storms or pattern change in the medium to long range. They have only further backed away from any meaningful snow potential for the rest of January and into early February as this high pressure ridge is proving to be very stubborn. Some models are still hinting at occasional weak storms next week, but I have low confidence.
