Friday deepness at a handful of mountains

Summary

Thursday night's storm delivered cold temperatures and 9-12 inches of snow to the western parts of the northern and central mountains, so there will be powder (on a thin/frozen base) on Friday morning. Other mountains received 1-7 inches, which will create areas of softer turns. Coming up, the weekend will be dry and sunny, then next week will become showery.
