Another Warm Pattern-Blocking Ridge Short Term. Moisture Returns Late?

Summary

The past 48 hours brought some of the best conditions of the season to both Colorado and Wyoming, with 12-18 inch storm totals. The trend is for warmer temperatures and a few storms to buckle the ridge through New Year's. Northern Regions of N. America is favored again for snowfall. Post New Year's has more hope of a trough for the Sierra extending north into the PNW, BC, and northern Rockies.
