The season’s winding down. Cardrona and Mt Olympus close Sunday, Remarkables and Mt Hutt next weekend, Whakapapa and Turoa October 26. The Southern Lakes have had another top-up, and Mt Hutt and Ruapehu had a dusting. This weekend, a low brings more South Island snow, with some rain too.
