Western MT Snow Wed – Thu / More Snow for SW MT Thu - Fri

Summary

Springtime temps max on Tues before a Pacific trough passes through from Weds into Fri AM. The West Central mountains, as far south as Lost Trail, are best positioned for the first phase. This trough then looks to slide towards the desert SW on Weds PM, sending colder air and various waves north into the SW MT mountains through Fri. High pressure rebuilds this weekend. Snow returns by Mon 3/9.
