Strong Ridgetop Winds Continue Fri / Ridging & Warming Sat - Weds

Summary

With a deep trough and westerly jet just north of the border and the axis of a ridge of high pressure south of MT, tight pressure gradients will bring a return of strong westerly winds across the upper elevations on Fri. These winds will subside by Sat. More dryness Sat - Weds as the ridge strengthens and a split flow aloft develops, bumping storms north and south of MT. Snow returns maybe Thurs.
