Transition Time: Snow West of the Divide thru Wed, Windy Everywhere

Summary

A SW flow aloft will funnel in a modified Atmospheric River into the western mountains on Monday and Tuesday. Deep accumulations are likely above 5K feet along the western border with ID. The SW flow will transition to a cooler and windier westerly flow by Tues PM bringing more widespread snowfall across the state through Weds. Strong winds continue through Fri with high pressure drying the skies.
