Active Pattern Favoring the Western Mountains

Summary

A storm system off the PNW coast will continue to spread a warm and moist airmass into NW Montana on Sunday. Snow levels will hover around 5K at Whitefish and Lookout Pass. Colder air moves in Sunday night as the jet stream lowers over the Northern Rockies and a westerly flow develops. This setup will keep the western mountains snowy through Fri, with lighter amounts across the SW mountains.
