Nice New Year’s / Some Unsettled Skies this Weekend

Summary

The next two to three days will be mostly dry, accompanied by a warming trend. Yep, high pressure in various strengths and forms will dominate the short term pattern for now. For this weekend, a Pacific trough and cold front look to bring an unsettled pattern with light accumulations above 4K to 5K across the NW mountains. Less unsettled for the mountains east of the Divide. Cooler by Sunday.
