The Storm Door Swings Wide Open

Summary

The first wave of snowfall has cleared the western mountains and will wrap up Fri AM for the eastern mountains. 24-hour storm totals listed below. A transition from a NW to westerly flow aloft will occur Fri PM. This will open the storm door for a string of warm Pacific storms to move through the Northern Rockies over the weekend and into early next week. 5-Day snow totals of 1 to 2 feet for many.
