Incoming Storm Fizzling Out

Summary

Dry and warm under high pressure on Tuesday and Wednesday. A Pacific trough will split and weaken as it moves into the Northern Rockies late Thursday night. Most of the energy appears to track around the Treasure State. Only a few inches are possible above 5000 feet on Friday. A dirty ridge of high pressure will keep the skies unsettled and cooler this weekend, but no accumulations are likely.
