Active Pattern through Friday / High Pressure for the Weekend

Summary

A Pacific shortwave will move through the Northern Rockies on Thurs, bringing light (wet) accumulations above 6000’ west of the Divide, and above 6800’ east of the Divide. Next up, the storm that has been casting these shortwaves will move into the state Thurs PM into Fri, lowering snow levels, bringing additional accumulations to the mountains. Ridging then builds for the weekend.
