Dry, Breezy, and Mild Saturday / Unsettled Spring Pattern Sun thru Weds

Summary

The leading edge of a Pacific trough pushes the high-pressure ridge over the Northern Rockies out on Sat night creating light instability across NW MT into Sun morning. A stronger shortwave follows later Sun into Mon with decent accumulations of 2 – 6” possible from Lookout to Whitefish. Big Sky could also see a few inches on Mon. A potentially stronger disturbance arrives Tues through Weds.
