Summary

Friday will bring a mix of rain and snow for the Midwest with accumulations generally less than an inch, except over in the UP where 1-4 inches is expected. A strong cold front on Friday will bring the return of lake effect snow for the UP Friday into Saturday, setting the stage for a powder day at the Ironwood, Michigan resorts.
