Severe Storms Turn to Backside Snow

Summary

A strong storm will bring severe weather on Monday, primarily east of the Appalachians. A cold front will plummet temperatures Monday evening to the teens and 20s with backside snow bringing 1-8 inches of snow through Wednesday morning. The heaviest snow will fall in the northern and western Mid-Atlantic. Snow squalls are likely with gusty winds, bringing areas of brief heavy snow.
