Rain Friday and Saturday, Scattered Snow Sunday

Summary

Scattered rain will affect the Mid-Atlantic on Friday, and widespread rain will move in on Saturday. Temperatures will be too warm for snow with rain accumulations of 0.25-2 inches. Cold air moves in Sunday AM with a ‘flash freeze’, causing icy conditions. Scattered snow showers develop north/west on Sunday as well, with 1-4+ inches. Next week starts dry and clear, with a storm moving in mid-week.
