Light Snow Monday, Mix Rain/Snow Wednesday, Cold air and Snow Thursday

Summary

Snowy and cold weather will continue this week. A weak storm clears NC and the southern Mid-Atlantic on Monday with 1-4 inches of snow. A larger storm moves in Wednesday with a mix of rain and snow, but colder weather with lake effect moves in Thursday and Friday with light snow accumulations down the Appalachians through NC. A significant cold air mass with scattered snow is likely this weekend.
