All About the Lake Effect

Summary

Lake effect snow will continue to bring light snow accumulations to the northern Mid-Atlantic on Friday and this weekend. Snow will be heaviest Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning with 5-10+ inches in western NY. Light snow of 1-6 inches will fall in central NY and the higher terrain of the western Mid-Atlantic. More chances of snow north and west will occur to start next week.
