Lake Effect Continues with More Widespread Snow Thursday & Friday

Summary

Lake effect snow continues on Wednesday in western NY. The next storm moves light snow in on Thursday with a weak coastal storm developing widespread snow on Friday. Light snow accumulations are expected of 1-6+ inches, but a couple of areas could see banding of snow and nearly 8 inches. Lake effect continues this weekend in the northern and western Mid-Atlantic with cold air and gusty winds.
