Scattered rain continues, mixed precipitation this weekend

Summary

Scattered light rain showers return to the Mid-Atlantic Thursday evening and continue until Friday morning. The next storm system approaches from the southwest late Friday and pushes mostly rain into the region. The northern Mid-Atlantic will see light snow, sleet, and freezing rain accumulations with lake effect snow on Sunday.
