Snow returns by Friday

Summary

The first snow of the season has exited the region, leaving 2-8 inches of snow throughout the higher terrain. Light rain affects the region Thursday but will change to lake effect snow showers that will continue through Friday. The long-term pattern continues to look favorable for chances of snow the week of Thanksgiving.
