Summary

A lighter and drier snow will fall throughout the day on Thursday before the next huge Atmospheric River takes aim at the Sierra. The heavy snow will start Friday morning and continue through Saturday night. There will be plenty of rain at the lowest bases until it all turns to snow by Saturday late morning. A quick Sunday break before another onslaught of storms for next week with much less rain!

Mike graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor’s in Atmospheric Science and received his Masters in Atmospheric Science at the University of Nevada Reno. He grew up in Southern California by the beach, but quickly realized he loved the mountains, so his first memories were of the SoCal mountains where he saw snow for the first time.
