Three storms on tap - none significant, but at least it'll snow

Summary

Happy New Year! The good news is that three storms will bring snow to Colorado during the first nine days of 2026. The bad news is that we currently have a near-record-low snowpack, and none of the three upcoming storms are likely to bring significant snow. At least the upcoming systems will deepen our base a bit, and should help mountain crews to open some additional inbounds terrain.
