Jet Stream Pushes North Over Canada- Blocking High Pressure for the Rockies

Summary

After a busy week of chasing powder in the northern Rockies, Idaho, and the PNW, the next 14 days look relatively quiet. An active moisture tap is setting up over Canada as the jet slides north. While a decent fetch of moisture will hit the western mountains of Canada, warm air will keep snow levels high. The extended does not offer much hope. Cold air rides over the ridge into New England.
