DEEP Storm Totals / Dry & Slightly Cooler to End the Week

Summary

A firehose of sub-tropical moisture (an Atmospheric River) was aimed at Sunshine Village and Lake Louise over the past 48 hours, delivering deep storm totals of 37 cm (15”) at Louise, and 27 cm (11”) at Sunshine. A ridge of high pressure now looks to make itself home over the region beginning on Weds and likely persists into the middle of next week. Cooler air by Thurs lasts into the weekend.
