Summary

In this first post of the new season, we’ll try to understand what we may expect this winter. A weak La Nina condition looks likely, with oceanic readings showing slightly cooler temps. OpenSnow has identified six weak La Nina Winters over the past 30 years, from which I will pull historical data from snow survey sites closest to popular ski resorts in Alberta.
