Summary

It was a great weekend across the Alberta Rockies with all 3 of the SkiBig3 resorts opening new terrain, including the deep powdery kick-off of Norquay’s “Big Chair” (more on that below). Not too much going on in the short-term forecast with a dominant ridge off the BC coast blocking any Pacific storm systems. That ridge looks to flatten by Friday opening the door for a few systems next weekend.
