Light Storm Totals – Ridging Returns through Saturday

Summary

A weak trough of low-pressure on Weds/Weds night displaced the high-pressure ridge that had previously been over the Rockies much faster than initially forecasted. A good thing for us as Lake Louise added 6cm, and Norquay and Nakiska added 3cm. Marmot, opening today (11/16) received 1cm but also had optimum snow-making temps. A break begins Thurs as a ridge moves into the Rockies through Sat.
