Warming Trend with Unsettled Skies into the Week Ahead

Summary

Welcomed relief from the arctic cold on Saturday as a westerly flow aloft (and gusty SW winds) have warmed temps across the Alberta Rockies. A couple of weak Pacific low-pressure systems will move through over the next several days. The first on Sunday/Sunday night will bring widespread periods of light snow. Next up Mon night into Tues could bring trace totals to 3cm, with +/- 10cm at Castle Mtn.
