Midweek Storm

Summary

A Gulf of Alaska storm system has begun its slow march inland towards the Rockies on Tuesday drawing a warm and windy airmass into the region. Snow develops Wednesday evening at Marmot Basin, then spreads south to the US border by midday Thursday. Storm totals of generally 5-15cm, with up to 25cm for resorts along the Divide (Sunshine, Marmot Basin). High-pressure returns for the weekend.
