A surface ridge of high-pressure will strengthen over the Alberta Rockies on Wednesday and looks to last through the weekend. The airmass over the Rockies will be colder than seasonal norms through the next 6 days with the coldest day being Saturday when highs at 2500m will be around -17c. Extended forecast models are signaling a return to unsettled skies early next week.
