As of Monday, March 16th MOST of Alberta’s resorts and ski areas have vowed to stay open during this time of COVID-19 virus concerns, albeit with various precautions in place to safeguard their clientele. Nakiska is the only resort that has suspended operations. Please check the resort/area website and or social media platform for specifics on these precautions as well as any operations status updates before heading up. Update (3/17) on Americans crossing into Canada, a voluntary 14-day isolation period is now in effect pretty much ruling out trips north of the US border for the foreseeable future.
